Old Collection. This is the original MERINNOVATION cut of our women's long sleeve V-neck. It fits differently from the current collection: sizes run according to the Old Collection size chart in the photo gallery - please check garment measurements before ordering. Same 100% merino wool, available in 165 GSM and 250 GSM.
Standard base layers force a choice: warm enough for cold conditions, or breathable enough for active ones. The V-neck cut sits clean under open collars and layers without showing.
Sweat is pulled away before it collects. During rest, the layer re-stabilizes, keeping your temperature steady rather than cycling through sweating and chilling. Machine care follows an easy routine: wash at 30°C (86°F) - the fabric maintains softness, shape, and color without special treatment.

Care Instructions
Merino is easier to care for than most people expect — and because it naturally resists odor, you'll wash it far less than cotton or synthetics.
Washing
- Machine wash cold (30°C / 86°F) on a gentle or wool cycle
- Use a mild detergent — no bleach, no fabric softener (softener coats the fiber and reduces its natural performance)
- Wash with similar colors, inside out
Drying
- Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight — this keeps the shape and fit
- Do not tumble dry, do not wring
Between wears
- Air it out overnight — merino refreshes itself and is usually ready to wear again
- Spot-clean small marks with cold water instead of a full wash
Storage & pilling
- Store folded, clean and fully dry
- Light pilling in high-friction areas during the first weeks is normal for natural fibers — remove it gently with a fabric shaver and it fades over time
